Rebrand for bij jacob

Bij Jacob is a gorgeous restaurant and hotel, located in the East of the Netherlands. When the owners approached me, the restaurant had been open for a year and was doing well. Nevertheless they missed a specific, younger, segment of the target audience, who perceived the restaurant as ‘too chic’ and wouldn’t come in for a drink or spontaneous dinner. To make the restaurant look more approachable I freshened up their color palette, made the typography more fun & funky, redesigned the inside of their menu, made them frameworks for on- and offline content and worked with a freelance projectmanager and webdesigner to redesign their website as well (coming soon).
